Abodes Renews and Extends Outsourcing Agreement with ConsulTech

Date: Dec 30, 2005

ConsulTech, one of Bloomington's oldest technology services firms, and Abodes, Inc., one of Bloomington's premier property management companies, today announced that they have renewed and expanded their technology support partnership with a new, three-year outsourcing agreement.

“In 2004, Abodes challenged ConsulTech to dramatically improve technology support for its corporate offices, while reducing costs,” states Patrick Casey, ConsulTech CEO. “The renewal of the Abodes contract – and expanding it to three years – shows that we mean what we say in our Values: 'We will provide more value to our customers than they could provide them for themselves or obtain from a competitor.' It is very gratifying.”

ConsulTech provides technology support for Abodes' corporate offices, including desktop and laptop computers, servers, firewalls, Internet connectivity, virtual private networks to Abodes construction sites, as well as support for Abodes' corporate hubs, routers, and switches.

"We are very pleased with ConsulTech. They have improved our technology infrastructure while reducing our costs. And they do it all with great attention to customer care. They treat us like friends, not just as clients,” said Mark Lauchli, President and Principal Developer of Abodes.

“ConsulTech has been a technology partner with Abodes for a long time”, said Casey. “We are very customer-focused and our emphasis on service and quality makes Abodes a great match for us. We are proud to help them contribute to making Bloomington such a great place to live.”
