Patrick Casey joins ConsulTech as Chief Executive Officer

ConsulTech, a Bloomington, Indiana based technology services firm, announced today that Patrick Casey has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Casey will immediately be responsible for the overall management of the company, including customer relations, service management, strategic planning, personnel, and business development.

Casey has significant technology management experience, with 27 years in the information technology field. Prior to joining ConsulTech, Casey served as Vice President for Information Technology at InterArt Distribution on Bloomington’s west side. While at InterArt, Casey led efforts to install the Oracle enterprise suite, while expanding technology services and cutting costs. He also played a pivotal role in the development of InterArt’s sales management systems used by its retail clients.

Prior to his role at InterArt, Casey served on the Indiana University’s computing staff for 15 years in a variety of technical and leadership roles. He played a key role in the merger of Bloomington Academic Computing with IU’s statewide business systems unit in the 1990s, and spearheaded IU computing’s entry into total quality management.

Casey completed his Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University’s College of Arts and Sciences in 1975, and later studied at IU’s Graduate School of Business He has been a Bloomington resident since 1971.
